What is ChatterNest?

An English speaking club that never closes

Anyone can open a room, give it a topic and a level, and other learners join to talk. Use your voice, turn on your camera, or type in the room chat when you get stuck on a word.

Most people study English grammar for years but rarely get to speak English with real people. Ten minutes of real conversation a day builds fluency and confidence faster than any worksheet.

Built by Tanvir WebXprt in Bangladesh for learners everywhere. Works on any phone or computer with a modern browser.

Yes. ChatterNest is 100% free. There is no subscription, no trial and no credit card. You only need a Google account to sign in, so everyone in a room is a real person.

No. ChatterNest runs in your web browser on Android, iPhone, Windows and Mac. Open the page in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, allow your microphone and you are ready to talk.

Sign in with Google, browse the open rooms at the top of this page, filter by level or topic, and tap a room card. You can test your microphone before you go in. To join a private room, use Join with a code and paste the invite link.

Voice rooms hold up to 8 people and video rooms up to 4. Small groups mean everyone gets time to speak, which is what makes the practice work.

Any level is welcome, from beginner to advanced. Every room shows its level, so beginners can find patient partners and advanced speakers can find fast, challenging conversations.

Yes. Open a room with the topic set to IELTS or exams and take turns asking Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 questions. It is great for fluency and confidence, but it is peer practice, not an official IELTS test.

Yes. When you open a room you can make it unlisted and add a password. Share the invite link and only the people you invite can join.

Every user signs in with Google, hosts can mute or remove people, and anyone can report a user from inside a room. Reported accounts are reviewed and can be banned. Please never share your phone number, address or other personal details with strangers.

No. Voice and video travel directly between the people in the room (peer to peer) and are not recorded or stored on our server.

Check that your browser has permission to use the microphone, that the right microphone is selected in the setup check, and that you are not muted. Some strict office or mobile networks block live calls; switching to another Wi-Fi or mobile data usually fixes it.

If you enjoy Free4Talk style rooms, ChatterNest will feel familiar: open rooms, voice and video, text chat and host controls, all free and in the browser, with a simple and clean design.
